Every teacher, every venue, one timetable.

Locations and rooms

Three venues, one grid.

Every lesson carries a site and a room, so a Saturday spread across a studio, a church hall and a partner school reads as one timetable rather than three diaries.

  • ✓ Unlimited locations, each with an address, a type and its own rooms — one set as primary for new lessons
  • ✓ Clashes caught across teacher, room and pupil at once, before a parent hears about it
  • ✓ Teacher lanes in the week view, so a busy site is legible instead of a stack
  • ✓ Substitutes and cover without rebuilding the week; the register still knows who taught it

Teaching inside schools

Registers without invented times.

You visit a school on a Tuesday, you are given a room, and the office sends children out one at a time. LessonLoop supports that directly instead of asking you to make up a clock.

  • ✓ Untimed lessons for the same school, teacher and day group into one register block — Bell Farm — 14 children
  • ✓ The block sits in a Schools strip pinned above the timed grid, in day, three-day and week views
  • ✓ Mark Present, Absent, Late or Cancelled straight down the list; each tap saves on its own
  • ✓ Reorder the running order and choose whether the new order applies to this day or carries forward

The marking is the same attendance record as anywhere else — it feeds invoicing, make-up credits and payroll identically.

Paying the team

Set the rate once. Payroll counts.

Each teacher has a pay basis and a rate, and the Payroll report does the arithmetic from the lessons that were actually taught — not from a parallel spreadsheet somebody keeps.

  • ✓ Per lesson, hourly, or a percentage of what the lesson earns — plus exceptions where a rate differs
  • ✓ Employment recorded as employee or self-employed contractor, with a default lesson length
  • ✓ Thirteen reports — revenue, outstanding, payroll, P&L, event profit, billable hours, expenses, mileage, lessons delivered, cancellations, utilisation, attendance and teacher performance
  • ✓ By week, month, term or a custom range, with CSV out and a one-way sync of invoices and payments into Xero

Talking to everybody

Write it once. Send it to the right list.

Term dates, a closure, a room change, a fee chase. Pick who receives it rather than pasting the same text into twenty threads.

  • ✓ Audiences: all families, everyone overdue (with the total owed beside the count), by pupil status, or by teacher
  • ✓ Consent recorded and delivery status shown per family, so you know who actually got the closure notice
  • ✓ Sent from your own email address on your own domain, with reusable message templates
  • ✓ WhatsApp reminders as an optional prepaid pack, in early access. There is no SMS channel

Enquiries that land
somewhere, not in an inbox.

An academy loses more places to a lost email than to a competitor. Enquiries arrive as records, not as messages somebody has to remember.

From your own website

Embed an enquiry widget into the site you already have, or publish a booking page for an open class or a taster slot. Both can sit on your own custom domain rather than ours.

Through to a lesson

Enquiries are tracked to an outcome, booking requests wait for your approval, and an approved request becomes a real lesson on the real timetable, in a real room.

The price as you grow

Fifteen teachers across four venues. Still £39.

Published list prices, read from each vendor’s own pricing page. An academy is where a per-teacher meter costs the most, because an academy is mostly teachers.

Team size MyMusicStaffMakeMusic StudioMy Music Lessons LessonLoop
1 teacher ~£13~£16£9.95 £15 Solo
5 teachers ~£29~£31£21.75 £39
8 teachers ~£40~£43£30.60 £39
15 teachers ~£67~£70£51.25 £39
30 teachers ~£125~£128£95.50 £39

Every price above was read from that vendor’s own pricing page on 4 September 2026. US list prices converted at approximately $1 = £0.78 for comparison only — the rate moves, and what a UK card is charged depends on the vendor’s own checkout. GBP prices are as published. LessonLoop is £15 a month Solo — one teacher, unlimited pupils — and £39 a month School, with unlimited teacher accounts and unlimited pupils. The School price is the same at three teachers or thirty. Run it on your own numbers, or read the full comparison tables.

LoopAssist

The only AI that does the admin.

An academy generates more admin than any one person can hold. LoopAssist proposes the work and waits for your word before it does any of it.

The Morning Brief

What needs you today across every venue — unmarked registers, unpaid invoices, a lesson nobody has covered — in one read.

Propose, confirm, execute

Ask in plain English and it drafts the invoice, moves the lesson or writes the chase. Nothing executes until you confirm it.

Ask from ChatGPT or Claude

The MCP connector answers questions about your own academy from the assistant you already use. It is read-only today — it reads, it does not change anything.

Questions

Academies, answered.

We teach inside partner schools where lessons have no fixed times. Does that work?
That case is built in. Lessons can carry a date, a school, a teacher and a length with no start time at all. Those group into one register block per school, per teacher, per day, shown in a Schools strip above the timed grid rather than as invented time slots. The teacher opens the block and marks the children as the office sends them out, and the running order can be reordered and carried forward — fixed, rotating or collected as you go, without configuring anything.
How are teachers paid, and does payroll reconcile?
Each teacher has a pay basis — per lesson, hourly, or a percentage of what the lesson earns — with a rate, a default lesson length, and whether you engage them as an employee or a contractor. Exceptions can override the default for particular work. The Payroll report then counts from the lessons that were actually taught, so it reconciles to the register rather than to a separate spreadsheet.
Is £39 a month really the price for an academy with 200 pupils?
Yes. The School plan is £39 a month, or £390 a year — £32.50 a month — with unlimited teacher accounts, unlimited pupils, unlimited locations and unlimited rooms. Nothing on this page is a paid add-on. The plan that meters is the one you are leaving: three of the products in the table below charge per teacher, one charges per student lesson taught, and one prices on the total student count at the end of each month.
Can we message every family in one venue without messaging the rest?
Yes. Group sends pick an audience — all families, everyone overdue, by pupil status, or by teacher — and write once. Consent is recorded and delivery status is shown per family, so you can see who actually received a closure notice. Email sends from your own address on your own domain. There is no SMS channel; WhatsApp reminders are an optional prepaid pack in early access.
Can families find and book with us from our own website?
Yes. Public booking pages can be published for open classes and taster slots, an enquiry widget embeds into your existing site, and enquiries are tracked through to a booking you approve. The whole thing can sit on your own custom domain rather than ours.
What does moving several venues onto one system involve?
Export your pupils, guardians and timetable — a spreadsheet is fine — and we map and import it for you, free, on every plan. Nothing is emailed to a single family while an import is running, so you choose the moment parents are invited. Most schools are running within a day, and there is a full export and no lock-in if you ever leave.
