This is where you manage what you pay LessonLoop — your plan, the card we charge it to, and your past invoices. It’s separate from the money your families pay you.
Don't mix these up Billing & subscription (in Settings) is your own LessonLoop plan. Billing & Finance (in the sidebar) is the invoices you send to families. Two different things, two different places.
Where it lives
Your subscription lives under Settings → Billing & subscription. You’ll see your current plan, and either the plan cards (while you’re on trial) or a Manage billing button (once you’re subscribed).
The plans
LessonLoop has three flat-rate plans — you pay one price for your whole studio, with no per-teacher charges:
- Solo — £15/month, or £150/year billed annually. For a single teacher running their own lessons.
- School — £39/month, or £390/year. Adds teacher accounts for a studio or academy.
- Agency — £119/month, or £1,190/year. Adds the cross-studio Agency rollup.
Annual billing works out at roughly two months free. Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial, no card required, so you can set everything up before you pay a penny.
Subscribe or change your plan
While you’re on trial, pick a plan under Settings → Billing & subscription and you’ll go through a secure Stripe checkout — Apple Pay and Google Pay work too.
Once you’re subscribed, plan changes, card updates and cancellations all happen through Manage billing, which opens your secure Stripe billing portal. Changes take effect per Stripe’s proration — upgrades straight away, with the difference handled on your next invoice.
If you move down a plan (say School to Solo), nothing in your data is deleted.
Update your payment card
Select Manage billing and update the card in the Stripe portal. The next subscription charge uses the new card. Your card details are held securely by Stripe — LessonLoop never stores the full number.
Find a past invoice
Your LessonLoop invoices and receipts live in the same Stripe billing portal, via Manage billing — each one downloadable, handy for your bookkeeping or to claim as a business expense.
When the trial ends
If you need a little longer, there’s a one-off 7-day extension you can claim yourself from the trial banner — no card needed. After the trial your studio locks safely: nothing is deleted, you can export your data as CSV from the plan screen, and subscribing reopens everything exactly where you left off.
Good to know Changing your subscription plan here has no effect on your families' invoices, your card-payment connection, or your payouts. Those are managed separately under Billing & Finance and Settings → Integrations.
